Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows (Windows shortcut keys)

This article brings you a list of Microsoft Windows keyboard shortcuts and they are tested in Windows 7 environment.

• F1 - Help
• F2 - Rename objects (folders, files, ... )

• Windows Logo (Windows key) - Start menu
• Windows Logo + D - Minimizes all open windows and displays the desktop
• Windows Logo + E - Open windows explorer (AKA My Computer /  Computer)
• Windows Logo + F - Find computer (search files and folders)
• Windows Logo + L - Lock the computer (without using CTRL+ALT+DELETE)
• Windows Logo + M - Minimize all
• Windows Logo + R - Run dialog box

• ALT + ENTER - Displays properties
• ALT + TAB   - Switch between open programs
• ALT + F4    - Quit / close program

• CTRL + C - Copy
• CTRL + X - Cut
• CTRL + V - Paste
• CTRL + Z - Undo
• CTRL + B - Bold
• CTRL + U - Underline
• CTRL + I - Italic

• Application key - Displays a shortcut menu for the selected item
